The M95 program began in the late 1970s after Odentia realized its M78 “Grand” MBTs were falling behind rival Sorthian and Uranese designs. The Ministry of Defense tasked Odenthal Heavy Industries with developing a next-generation tank that combined advanced firepower and protection with Odentian ruggedness.
The resulting M95A1 Victor is a third-generation main battle tank weighing 58 tons, optimized for balance between firepower, protection, and mobility. It mounts a 120mm smoothbore gun with coaxial and roof-mounted machine guns, backed by an advanced fire-control system for precise day-and-night engagements. Powered by a 1,500 hp V12 diesel, the M95A1 reaches 70 km/h with excellent cross-country mobility, making it a durable and versatile platform that has remained the backbone of Odentia’s armored forces to this day.
