The SAIA 90 was a concept multifunctional fighter which was designed between FAdeA and dornier. After the loss of more than half of the Argentine fighters in the Malvinas War (Falklands) , Argentina needed a fighter that could replace the Mirage III so the air force asked FAdeA to manufacture a 4th generation fighter and thus the concept of the SAIA 90 but after the economic crisis caused by the videla dictatorship, the democratic government could not pay for the project and SAIA 90 was canceled
