Primarily a strike fighter with low observatonal cross section and a signicantly reduced radar cross section due to the hull and wing shapes this jet fighter can penetrate deep behind the front line and deliver its payload on high value targets in the opening stages of a conflict (first night). vtol slides down to open the bomb bay doors, up with group 1 opens the cockpit. 2 turns on marking lights 8 turns off the nav lights. Flight characteristics are interesting given the high position of the heavily sheilded jet engine (heat and noise being less due to the ducting). The tail is perhaps the most vulnerable part of the aircraft to ground based detection. Obviously the gear is very easy to spot.
