K-13/14 AAM Family Pack

Hello everyone, I hope you are all well. Today I'm sharing this new pack of K-13/14 family AAMs, specifically developed by our office, OKB-147 "Vostok," based on the Soviet K-13 missile family but implementing constant improvements.

Missiles in the Pack:

  • "K-13S2 AAM-13S": Based on the AA-2 "Atoll" R-3S, it began as a copy of this missile's maneuverability improvements combined with a new second-generation missile seeker.
  • "K-13R2 AAM-13R": Based on the AA-2C "Atoll" R-3R and derived from the K-13S2 design, this one was designed based on the R-3R, although its semi-active radar guidance maintains the same maneuverability as the K-13S2.
  • "K-13M AAM-13M": Its design was specifically derived from the K-13S2 missile, and a design based on the Soviet AA-2D "Atoll" R-13M missile was developed, thus increasing its guidance endurance and maneuverability.
  • "K-13M2 AAM-13M2": Based on the design of the Soviet AA-2 Atoll R-13M1 missile, expanding its design dimensions, improving its infrared guidance, and achieving extreme maneuverability to avoid evasive maneuvers from the enemy.
  • "K-14C AAM-14": I don't have much to say about this one; it was literally derived from the K-13S2, its guidance was simply improved, with a primitive IRCCM and fins similar to those of the Japanese "AAM-3" missile, giving it maneuverability of 40gs.
  • "K-14R AAM14R": Briefly, this would be the Semi-Active Radar Guided (SARH) variant of the K-14C missile, derived from the K-13R2's radar seeker with ECM improvements.
  • "K-14M": Finally, we come to the last variant of this package. The K-14M ??is completely derived from the existing K-14C. Its design has been completely redesigned, shortening its length and completely modifying its aerodynamics and advanced, though not infallible, seeker. It is almost identically based on the ASRAAM but with a much more distinctive design.

(The design of these missiles has a moderate level of detail, to maintain optimization but also maintain detail without appearing simple missiles. The fins have functions of moving toward the target as a function of missile guidance, etc.)
