The Cormack Type 45V Formidable is one of the successful sub to supersonic strike fighters during the Cold War era capable of VTOL (vertical takeoff and landing). It is among the first VTOL jets to compete the Harrier and to variable sweep-wing.
Used by the Royal Fabellan Air Force and the Royal Odrasean Air Defence Forces.
