INTRODUCTION:
The IS-3M was introduced in 1960 as an upgrade to the post WWII IS-3. With a new V-54K-IS engine, derived from the T-54 medium tank engine, to improve reliability and performance in various climates, night vision, better hull protection, hull side skirts, and newer intercom and radio systems. Though it had this much upgrades some of these features are impossible to do in simpleplanes (either impossible or impossible for me). The IS-3M heavy tank was designed primarily as a breakthrough tank to spearhead offensives against heavily fortified enemy positions. Its main role was to use its powerful armament and thick, sloped frontal armor to penetrate enemy defenses, absorb incoming fire, and clear the way for lighter forces. Though a very formidable tank on a lot of aspects it has some drawbacks, such as it's lack of gun depression... maxing in at -3° it struggles against targets in an uphill position. Also it's reload speed, atmost being 25-27 seconds I buffed my creation with a 20 second reload to reduce the pain of waiting.
