Determined to maintain there neutrality the Swedes undertook a massive rearmament program in the late 1930's and early 40's one of the resulting aircraft from this time was the j21 which in later years grew into a jet fighter but this example has a supercharged and turbo charged 1500hp piston engine. If anyone has a 1940's Swedish Crown Insignia it would be nice to add to this and other saabs'.
