Socrux VANT-2B Daedalus-B (+ Target Drone Variant)

VTOL: Flaps Up/Down (Inverted)
The Socrux VANT-2B "Daedalus-B" is a piston-engined, increased endurance derivative of the jet-powered VANT-2 "Daedalus". It has a considerably larger wingspan than its predecessor, and was designed to loiter for a much longer time over a target area. Its weapon-carrying capability is reduced, however, and though it carries the same number of weapon stations as its predecessor they are rarely all used. It is also almost never equipped with guided bombs, though it has the capability to employ them; instead, it is usually fitted out with six air-to-ground missiles and two AAMs for self defense. It keeps the .50 caliber MGs, but the fairing housing them was reduced as it no longer needs to house the retracted landing gear; the gear was switched to a fixed design.

Due to the low cost of the airframe, stripped-down versions without the expensive sensors and weapons systems have been developed for use as target drones, with great success.

@Mustang51 Thanks! Had some predator vibes, but it was mostly me messing around with fuselage parts and eventually a shape came up which I thought, "hey, I could make a drone out of this", so I did, lel.
