Suburban Commuter Train

7,397 FeiWu  3.7 years ago

Version with track included

This is a small 3-car train designed for commuter rail and subway services. It has one door on each side in each car, as the rail routes this train is designed for do not have that much demand. The train uses a standard gauge of 1435mm. It probably works on TrainDude's railway maps, though I don't have access to it so I can't test it out (I'm on iOS). This is a low effort build, for those who don't want every single detail imaginable but just want to drive a train.

Controls:

Trim up: forward
Trim down: reverse

Warnings:

  • I neglected to weight the train properly. You should probably put max dead weight (1000lb) on all possible fuselage pieces
  • The train does not work without tracks

Finally:

The train does not include any interior or any other complex details. Feel free to add them. Please give me credit for the original build (it can be a successor) if you do that. It's fine if you forget, though.
Enjoy this build!
