The LRAD-88 Lockpoint is a long-range surface-to-air missile system designed to provide wide-area air defense against aircraft, helicopters, UAVs, and select cruise-missile targets. Each launcher carries four long-range missiles, housed in sealed canisters for rapid deployment and easy reloads. The launcher is equipped with two integrated radar antennas, giving it strong directional coverage and redundancy. While the onboard radar can perform independent tracking at medium ranges, the LRAD-88 is primarily designed to operate as part of a networked air-defense grid. It receives targeting data from external radar platforms, including ground-based early-warning systems, airborne surveillance aircraft, and naval radar arrays. This allows the system to engage targets well beyond its local sensor horizon. The missile itself has an approximate maximum effective range of 150 km, depending on engagement altitude and guidance conditions. Network-fed guidance updates allow the LRAD-88 to intercept targets at long distances with high accuracy. Overall, the LRAD-88 Lockpoint provides powerful, flexible long-range coverage and serves as a backbone system for strategic air-defense networks of the Spinnish Military. The LRAD-88 Lockpoint was developed during the early stages of the INTERA-70 Integrated Air Defense Revitalization Program, a sweeping modernization effort launched by the Imperial Republic of Spin in 1967. INTERA-70 aimed to replace aging, fragmented 1940s–era systems with a fully networked, multi-layered national air-defense grid capable of countering new threats emerging across the KE globe. The conceptual roots of the LRAD-88 can be traced back to the B.E.-Spinnish War, where Spin’s long-range air defense proved unable to coordinate effectively across mountainous terrain and rapidly shifting airspace. Enemy aircraft often slipped between radar gaps, exploiting the limited sensor range of older missile batteries. Defense planners concluded that Spin needed a network-first long-range interceptor—a launcher that could fire based entirely on external radar guidance while maintaining minimal local radar functionality of its own. This idea became the nucleus of what would become the LRAD-88. By 1968, Spin’s Ministry of Defense contracted Guardian Aerospace and Monarch Defense to jointly design a next-generation long-range SAM. Prototype trials began in August of 1970 at the Tierra Fría Test Range, where the LRAD-88 demonstrated impressive beyond-visual-range intercept capability thanks to its reliance on external radar feeds. The very first successful 150 km engagement—considered groundbreaking for Spin at the time—cemented its place in INTERA-70’s architecture. The LRAD-88 officially entered frontline service in December of 1970, filling the long-range layer of Spin’s expanding defense network.

@B1 oh, buts still
@Boeing727200F nvm 21 ppl in KE
@Boeing727200F no, 90 TAGS, not 90 KE members. It’s more like 15
@B1 HOLY SHIT 90 PEOPLE WHAT THE FUCK
PLEASE SOMEHOW FIND A WAY TO END ITS GOING ON TOO LONG.
the bloody war has become peoples entire personality on the site now thanks to its unwilling to end
@Boeing727200F nah they tried nuking it
@Boeing727200F its like 90 ppl
