The Scarrer was the last Nova Evropan aircraft to enter service in considerable numbers. It was part of the same zeppelin fleet program as the Scorcher and the Twister. In it's case, the Scarrer was to be a medium bomber.
Reasonably successful in combat, the Scarrer's true claim to fame was in another continent entirely: most of the deployed Scarrers were found in the Burdeaux Pocket, and several of them were seized and shipped overseas during the Exodus. After this, these Scarrers became the most important asset of early Fortian aviation. Originally only used in the conquest of Florida as early Fortia couldn't produce most replacement parts yet, these airships finally once again saw notable use in the conquest of Georgia, where it was used as much as a gunship as it was as a fighter. By the end of this war, the type was in production. Later on, Scarrers were phased out as bombers in favor of aeroplanes, but they still found a niche as transport aircraft thanks to their gentler flight characteristics, high fuel economy and high capacity.
Heavily-armed and almost uniquely provided with bomb bays, this airship was unusually powered by three engines sharing a common propeller. Just as with the Twister, Scorcher and Charrer, this was part of the old zeppelin fleet program; intended as a specialized tactical bombing airship.
