EM.Drill-Molten is a plasma-based resource extraction drill manufactured by Obe, designed to accelerate the production of military-grade materials for warfare. Its overall structure comprises seven main components:

Base Leg – a massive mechanical support leg capable of bearing extreme loads.

Drill Head – equipped with a high-temperature plasma system that instantly reduces rock and soil to ash.

Main Body – the core structure responsible for automatic cooling of the drilling system, operating the filtration unit, and transporting molten minerals via a titanium conduit into a storage tank.

Coolant Tank – a reservoir containing liquid nitrogen, ready to cool the drill system upon reaching critical heat levels.

Mineral Storage Tank – a large containment unit that holds liquefied minerals, melted by the plasma beam and extracted through a titanium pipe. This tank has a low radiation level.

Filtration System – encased in four thick lead layers, this unit filters impurities and radioactive particles from the exhaust fumes to ensure operational safety. However, this is also the area with the highest radiation exposure.

Operating Principle: Upon activation, the plasma system fires a blazing red plasma beam directly into the ground at extreme temperatures. Simultaneously, the four lead panels open to allow the filtration system to operate.

Advantages:

Rapid resource extraction

Continuous operation with minimal maintenance

Capable of functioning in extreme environments

Disadvantages:

Bulky and difficult to maintain

High operational costs

Emits dangerous radiation levels

Extremely hazardous to personnel

AG1: activates the drilling and filtering system.
