Overview:

The Gripen E, originally known As Gripen NG (Next Generation) is the most recent evolution of the famous Saab JAS-39 Gripen. Unlike the Gripen C and D, which were upgrades of the Gripen A and B, the Gripen-E is actually an entirely new aircraft, only retaining the shape. Evidently, the Gripen E isn't just an update , it features significant upgrades over the previous versions, like:

A new engine, the F414G (Same family as F-18!), enabling it to carry more weapons and giving the aircraft more autonomy.

A longer fuselage capable of carrying more fuel, and more fuel = more range and flight time

A new AESA radar, the Raven ES-05, which has a superior performance and more resistance to electronic warfare

New electronic warfare systems (...)

A new cockpit featuring a delicious Large Area Display so you don't have to constantly move your head down left and right to stay informed

And OPEN ARCHITECTURE, which allows it to retrofit new weapons and systems without having to change everything, which is a central point of it's design philosophy..

Acro: Like the original Pigpen, makes you throw the middle finger to the AoA limiter. unfortunately, it isn't that dangerous anymore 😭

AG5: !! Ejection Sequence !!

Steel Carnage:

If you've checked my previous builds, you probably already know what this is. But if you haven't, no problem, I'll tell you. Steel Carnage is basically a mechanic that allows you to destroy aircraft and see them break apart and catch fire more dramatically than simply just them desintegrating. For this to work, you need your missiles to have an ExplosionScale of 1 and a ProximiyDetonationRangeMin of 15-25, but due to this aircraft being significantly smaller than Concerto Binder, a PDRM of 20 is good.

Fun fact:

The custom landing gear and redesigned wings were the LAST thing i did to this aircraft; when looking at Gripen E pictures only then i realized THE HORROR that it had modified landing gear and thick wing roots , that's why the images show a different version of this machine💥
