The Nephilim is a unique railgun battery made for use on orbital platform defenses and large ships such as battlecruisers, battleships, dreadnoughts and carriers. What makes this railgun unique is its ammunition and the way it is produced. It uses plasma-filled preuritium, which deals a whole lot of damage (preuritium is the densest element discovered by man, with a weight of 310 grams/mole. The plasma inside the round is cooked by the charging railgun and round transit, and when the round impacts, the round deforms and spills the heated plasma inside, causing a chain reaction which makes the plasma explode, while the deformed preuritium round continues to travel until it makes its way through its target) and the ammo is produced by a small ammunition nanofactory, which is basically a 3D printer which uses fusion energy as raw material. It is also rapid-fire, which allows it to deal higher damage per second. The only drawback to the Nephilim is its very high power consumption rate. It can drain a full-sized fusion core in just 600 minutes of continued use.
