The most important and largest production model in the Feilong series is the TF.4 (later renamed S4), which has been modified by 4 and produced 87 new ones. Compared with the previous model, TF.4 is different. The most obvious feature is the removal of the front engine air intake, so the propeller hub cap is much larger. In order to improve longitudinal stability, two small vertical stabilizers were added to the horizontal tail fin, the aileron was modified, and the ejection seat was replaced by Martin • Baker Mk 2B. The cabin has also been strengthened. Some of the later aircraft also added a perforated dive plate, a three-piece windshield, and a wingtip tank.
