(Low Performance / Mobile Friendly Variant) F/A-77B Block 10 (EARLY) Mosquito-Beetle (Silver Skorpion Series BLUE)
— · INTRODUCING THE F/A-77B "Mosquito-Beetle" · —
The YF/A-77B (YF: Prototype Fighter) was a Multi-Purpose Carrier-Based Fighter Jet that underwent development for a period starting in Mid-2024 and being finished in Sunday 4th of May, 9 days before my birthday. It is the direct successor to the F/A-72A Block 10 Pelican, which was a Fighter Jet filled with malfunctions and with an horribly defective design.
The F/A-77B is the FIRST "B" Variant of the Mosquito-Beetle, since the ED/VTA Variant was basically the AB Variant, just with two engines.
SHORT HISTORY
The F/A-77 Mosquito-Beetle (formerly called F-72A "Pelican" and YF/A-77B → F/A-77 "Mosquito" → F/A-77 "Mosquito-Beetle") went from being a Turboprop Light-Attack, Patrol and Reconnaissance Carrier-Based Aircraft — to being a Multi-Anything Carrier-Based Fighter Jet capable of carrying the equivalent to a cargo truck of armament. This aircraft wasn't actually made thinking of fulfilling any role in specific, which is why believe it can do anything ( ╹▽╹ ).
It used to be poorly designed until I began putting more attention to detail and started giving the plane lots of aesthetic and/or conventional features that eventually turned it into a BEAST. One of the things that evolved the most was its cockpit, which was a Copy-Paste from the Pigpen, but began evolving shortly after it became a Fighter Jet.
This specific variant of the F/A-77 Mosquito-Beetle isn't a continuation; it's a remake.
It starts when I wanted to add more Avionics into the Cockpit, but it was too small, so... I decided to remake the entire aircraft from zero.
I've already talked a lot, so I'll just give some specifications about its features and armament.
