In 2020 the Luftwaffe added the Ba 673 to its roster. The Ba 673, dubbed the Fischadler, was designed to be launched from land and strike hard targets such as bunkers or aircraft carriers. In testing, it had been found that the craft easily outran most SAMs. As of yet, no kills have been attributed to the Ba 673, but it is expected that the UAV would be successful in its intended role.
