SRX-86
SRX-86 "Wind Breaker", manufactured by R&R Heavy Industry (RRHI), is a high-performance racing aircraft designed for air rally, grand prix, air racing competitions and aerobatic displays.
Engineered for professional pilots, this single-engine aircraft combines aerodynamics, materials, and exceptional maneuverability to dominate the skies.
DESIGN
SRX-86 features a distinctive inverted gull wing configuration. SRX-86's inverted gull-wing design was driven by two needs: a bigger propeller to make full use of the powerful RRHI REX-3000 engine, and the need for shorter, solid landing gear. The wings, constructed from lightweight carbon fiber composites, incorporate advanced laminar flow airfoils to optimize performance at extreme speeds and tight turns. SRX-86's sleek fuselage is crafted from a combination of aerospace-grade aluminum and titanium, ensuring both strength and minimal weight.
POWERPLANT
SRX-86 is powered by single RRHI REX-3000 engine, a custom-built, 3000 horsepower unit designed for reliability and absolute performance. This engine features electronic fuel injection, a high-efficiency intercooler, and a variable-pitch composite propeller, enabling SRX-86 to achieve excellent speed. Engine’s advanced cooling system ensures sustained performance during prolonged high-stress racing conditions.

No, the name Windbreaker is not a reference to any series. I use the name windbreaker to describe how easy this plane is to maneuver like literally breaking through the wind.
.
The black and white livery and number 86 itself is a reference to the Toyota AE86 from the anime Initial D
@B1BLancer Thank you XD wish me luck!
@RB107 yes, it is simple and easy to use. (While looking cool too).
@B1BLancer Do you think this will win the competition?
@B1BLancer loved the anime. I don't see much correspondence to it w the plane. A shame, ain't it... but well, it is an amasing build, thanks for spotlighting it :)
