Seagazer V

165 ChicoryBlues  8.1 years ago

A versatile seaplane contemporary with WWII designs (no jets or explosives). This experimental seaplane differs from its predecessor the Seagazer through the use of a revolutionary modification to its wings: using the Variable Wing System, the entire wing can be pivoted to radical angles through the use of the VTOL slider. Though this mechanism was created to compensate for the original Seagazer's difficulty in landing (shifting the wing angle upwards raises the floats forward for much gentler landings), it can also be used in the air to modify the plane's pitch. Careful application of the VWS can give the Seagazer V a surprise advantage in turnfights, assist in recovering from dives, and lend a hand in all manner of acrobatics. (A familiar yet unique plane based on an aesthetic I adore. Please modify to your liking. Enjoy! ~^@)
