The Smollett was a fairly small and agile car, it was known for being hard to control. The drivers kept having troubles trying to keep it on track, this Pre-War concept was also sold exclusively for the road! Only 5 were made for the public to drive. By 1917 however, 2 of the public cars was taken under German control. It was found somewhere infront of a cottage in Germany in 1947. They were restored and brought back to London. They are now owned by someone in Leeds. The other 3 was kept to race. One even got to have a go in a 3 lap race in Brands Hatch!
