Description

The Speedy Aerospace SF-38 is a bi-plane fighter plane designed and built to dogfight enemy bi-plane fighters, it's the company's second airplane design. It entered service in 1911 and it sought some air battles, only 50 were built and 7 units survive to this day and 2 are in airworthy status, meanwhile one is under restoration.

History

Since the success of the SAI-1, Speedy Aerospace decided to build a single-seat bi-plane, but since World War 1 broke out, The now independent Caelmus Islands (formerly the British Caelmus Territories) ordered Speedy Aerospace to build new fighter planes for the newly established Caelmus Islands Air Force (Now Caelmus Union Air Defense and Forces). So, Speedy Aerospace got to work and used their new bi-plane design and turned it into a fighter by mounting 2 wing guns, and with the mix of the design's excellent maneuverability, the result was the SF-38. The SF-38 impressed the Caelmus Territories Government with its performance but despite their excellent performance, they sought a handful of battles and were rarely shot down. Some units would be converted into trainers until their retirement in early 1930.

Anyways, have a nice flight with it and fighting other fighters with it
