Elephant Industries P-98 "Racer"

2,030 ZeElephant  8.2 years ago

Developed late in WWII as a naval aircraft, the P-98 failed sea trials due to its difficulties landing on aircraft carriers. However, the dual power aircraft's capabilities weren't lost and it was picked up by the United States Air Force as an escort/ground attack fighter. While range wasn't the Racer's forte, it made up for it in maneuverablility and speed. The V-12 up front only produced 1,000 horsepower, but the slick and surprisingly lightweight design still possesses good speed characterstics, and twin turbojets provide over 6,000 lbs of thrust capable of throwing the small aircraft anywhere in a pinch.

Activate turbojets with AG 1.
