Presenting the GP500

Firebird's all new open wheel race car doesn't joke around.

Boasting incredible stability at speeds over 300 km/h, it's equipped with an experimental active suspension system providing it excellent rotation in corner entry and remarkable stability and acceleration on exits. It's equipped with a light naturally aspirated V8 engine pushing 600 horsepower to the rear wheels through a gearbox that can propel it up to 325 km/h (or 200 mph for backwards people who don't use the metric system). Sitting at only 720 kg on independant pushrod active suspension and equipped with all around aero parts, it can take corners at ludicrous speeds while staying perfectly stable, and it's a force to be reckoned with when in the hands of a skilled driver, but can also be a learning ground for beginners. Safety is also one of it's strong points, with a strong chassis and calculated crushing zones to absorb impacts and keep it's driver safe.

Controls

  • Pitch works the throttle. Accelerating activates the hydraulic suspension.

  • Yaw works the steering. The controls are designed around phones and controllers, it wasn't tested on keyboard. Feel free to remap the controls to your liking.

  • Group 8 and the red button on the steering wheel cut power to the engine.
