Give me an upvote if you like this plane, I can really use custom thumbnails (pics taken in build mode don't look too good)!

<Mor-Midgee F-112 Awoogar>
When the Navy's what was going to become the AG Fugitive carrier strike aircraft was in its early prototype stage, Air Force generals saw potential in the craft, and with the encouragement from then-secretary of defense to use unified aircrafts between two services, Air Force decided to adapt the type, and Mor-Midgee started working on Air Force version of the aircraft. The original plan was to simply remove equipments unnecessary for land operation, and replace some electronics with that of the USAF. But as a result of mostly unnecesary changes made by the request of the USAF generals, the final product shared only 43% of components with the original Navy version of the craft, and manufacturing cost of each aircraft went 25% higher than the initial estimate. Regardless of such innefficiencies born out of silly inter-service rivalry and generals' ego, the aircraft was nonetheless highly valued by its Airforce users, and some portion of the aircrafts remained in service a few years longer than its sister variant of the Navy.

The official nick name of this aircraft went through many changes, from Sentinel (which was one of original candidates for the Navy version of the craft) to Brown Streak, to Tomahawk, until it somehow arrived at its current name. No one knows why or how this silly sounding final name was chosen, as it was everyone's consensus that this aircraft was going to be named "Tomahawk." Some say it was a result of some sabotage effect (which supposedly included some bribing) of the procurement department of the air force, which was known to be annoyed by the unnecessary changes made to the aircraft that resulted in higher cost per unit.

So this is a "airforceified" version of my AG Fugitive. I wanted to build more "strap-on" laser guided bombs copying- I mean inspired by Paveway (which there turns out to be more of), and figured I should build an USAF version of the Fugitive to go with it. And I read some interesting story of Douglas A-3 Skywarrior and its USAF counterparts, so I decided to make up funny back story for this aircraft as well. The aircraft looked too much like F-105 at one point (due to changes I made to the canopy), but I think I could successfully steer back and make it look somewhat different. AWOOGA!

*Manuals included.

    @RYAviation
    Can't blame you, it did end up looking like a cruise missile (it had to be done to get that silhouette). Hm... maybe I'll give secret cruise missile feature to my next targeting pod.. lol Thanks for the idea and the comment ;)
