"Why are we fighting this war, this war full of bloodshed, full of misery, all in the name of the Führer? Why do we have to watch our people suffer this fate, and what will become of the victims of war on both sides? The innocent bystanders are killed without mercy, even the poor helpless children who could only see their fate going nearer and nearer. Why can't both parties just compromise and call it a stalemate? If this still goes on, I'd rather live in the neutral countries"
