This thing was my first attempt at making bomb bays, and basing it off of a picture. It takes a lot to barely get into the air. just press 1 and push the VTOL slider up, that'll close the doors and set the gear down. Then throttle up and keep it straight and pull back on the elevators and hope for the best.
