The Steria comet was ordered after the test flights of the first angolian jet aircraft in 1939, it would take 3 years to fly and would enter service in 1944 becoming the world's first operational jet fighter, during the last 2 years of ww2 it was kept mostly in the airspace of the angolian isles almost never seeing combat against enemy aircraft although it would manage to get 19 kills before wars end. post war it didn't have much more success until the echanan war in which it was used to great success as a ground attack aircraft at such low altitude its straight wings gave it an advantage over the swept wing fighters of the andrian empire, it was retired in 1959 at the end of the echanan war as there was no need to bolster the angolian air force's aircraft numbers.
