Edgley EA-7 Optica is a British light short takeoff and landing aircraft designed for aerial reconnaissance and surveillance. Developed as an alternative to light helicopters. The first flight took place in 1979; serial production continued intermittently from 1983 to 1990, with a total of 21 aircraft built.
