Information About the Sparrow Hawk

The SH-1 Sparrow Hawk is a fictional ultra-small scout/attack helicopter. It is single seat, nimble, and bristling with firepower. I originally built the SH-1 to test out some VR helicopter control concepts in SPVR. The design evolved from a simple trainer to a functional attack vehicle with tons of unique features. Lets get into some of those features below.

Features

Fully VR compatible cockpit

The Sparrow Hawk comes equipped with a fully VR compatible cockpit, with realistic helicopter controls, including a working collective and weapon management buttons.

The Screens in the cockpit can be turned off through the AUX PWR switch or AG2 for a more analog flying experience.
Lefty Mode/ VR Accessibility

If you are one of the poor souls that is naturally left-handed, the SH-1 cockpit has a "Lefty Mode" button, that swaps the collective pitch control to the right hand, allowing you to fly with your dominant hand on the cyclic pitch control stick.
Functional Head-Tracking Cannon

The .50 caliber cannon mounted on the belly of the SH-1 can be controlled through where the pilot is looking in VR. This function can also be toggled on or off depending on the needs of the pilot with AG7.
Agility

The Sparrow Hawk is agile and maneuverable, and meant to go fast and low. Due to the reduced weight of the SH-1, it has next to no protection or armor.

A skilled pilot will need to use terrain to ambush enemies. This is what the SH-1 is designed for.
Weapons

As mentioned previously, the SH-1 is armed with a .50 caliber cannon.

Lastly, there are 14 70mm rockets mounted in two pods on either wing.

In Conclusion

I built this aircraft as an experiment and it turned into a really neat build that let me test a lot of new skills and ideas I've had for SP helicopters. Feedback is always welcome and appreciated, this will help me build better aircraft in the future.
NOTAMs for the SH-1
-There is a stabilizer for level flight/hovering that can be toggled with AG4
-Because very few people using VR have working rudder pedals, the yaw control for the vehicle is bound in a three axis configuration to the control stick, and accomplished with a "twisting" input of the stick itself. This may take some getting used to.
AGs are as follows
-AG1: Canopy open/close (default closed)
-AG2: Cockpit MFDs toggle (default off)
-AG3: Lights toggle (default off)
-AG4: Hover Stabilizer toggle (default off)
-AG5: Lefty mode toggle (default off)
-AG6: Pylon detach
-AG7: Cannon Head-track toggle (default off)

Happy Flying!!
