Main Battle Tank TK-6[Pattana TK-6, K-6 MBT] is a third Generation Main Battle Tank of Republic of Thailand, it was designed in 1971 and entered service in 1980 and was meant to replace TK-5(1965) which was still in service, various variations have been made around the TK-6 Chassis, including the DANAI (Defensive Armament New Artillery Interface), it is continued to be operated until 2005, and was later modified to be an export variants, shipped to South East Asian country, such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Myanmar, Papua New Guinea. And various other Asian countries, including Oman and India.

On early version, the TK-6 is fit with only 105mm Gun just like the TK-5-1965, but in 1990 it was later fit with 120mm R5 (Replaced Standard 120mm M9TK6 for Nato Standard ammunition, instead of Local made) it was later put on Export in 2000-2006, some purchased a license to produce. In the Development, it was inspired by West Germany Leopard 2A4 design, but it was later to be decided on whenever to follows the inspiration, or to made it up on their own.
It was a drastic improvement from TK-5, including fire control and stabilization.
