Background:
The 125mm SS-14 was built with specifications to fit in between the light and heavy artillery pieces and also be transportable. The request for such a cannon was made in 1935 and by 1937 the first prototype was completed. 800 A1 (early versions) were built up until the war for SPG and mobile artillery use. But when WWII came SuperSix decided to make an A2 (anti tank) Version for the rising of tank use in 1940. Around 5,200 of these models were built and used by allies until the end. Although the A2 was made in 1940 it still had no problem dealing with heavy german armor and was even overkill in the beginning. It was used until 1947 and later used by other countries. This is the A2 mod. 1944
