Sandfly anti-ship missile, namely P-270 mosquito. It is an anti-ship missile powered by Russian supersonic ramjet engine. Russia's GRAU code is 3M80, and NATO code is SS-N-22 "Sunburn". This missile system was designed and produced by Russia's Rainbow Machinery Manufacturing and Design Bureau in 1970s, and is the successor of SS-N-9 "Sea Monster" missile. At the beginning of the design, it was ship-launched, and then submarine-launched and air-launched versions were developed. The missile can carry conventional or nuclear warheads.
