HISTORY

The SHS Finhay was a pioneering Veridian aircraft carrier, commissioned in 1896 as one of the largest warships of its era. Designed to dominate naval warfare with early aircraft operations, it played a crucial role in the War of the New Century (1900–19012), surviving key battles like the Battle of the South Sea and Sevich after its sister ships were lost.

Though the Allies lost the war, the Finhay led the Reclamation War (1924–1930) as the last remaining fleet carrier. It met its end in the Battle of Thulomy (1925), sunk by enemy torpedo bombers after a heroic last stand.

Remembered as a symbol of resilience, the Finhay inspired future carriers and remains a legendary name in naval history.
