The AK-47, or simply AK, is a 7.62mm assault rifle developed in 1946-1947 in the USSR by designer Mikhail Kalashnikov. It was adopted by some branches of the armed forces in 1948, and by 1950 most of the Soviet army was armed with this rifle. In 1958, the AK was replaced by the AKM, but production had not yet been discontinued. Today, the Russian army is still armed with automatic rifles based on the AK, which have grown into many dozens of modifications. I decided to recreate the AK-47 in SimplePlanes. You can use it as decoration, you can improve it or just have fun using it. This build features a high level of detail, including visible trigger pull when firing, bolt action, safety, realistic characteristics, and the ability to remove the mag. Interesting facts: AK was produced in circulation of more than 100 million units. 1/5 of all firearms in the world are AK and its modifications. The AK and its modifications (including Galil) are in service in 106 countries. It has also been used in almost every conflict since 1950. Group 1 - Disconnect magazine. Group 2 - Remove safety.
