The Saviour earned it's name from the role it played in the War of Union. This small but fast fighter aircraft was the first aircraft operated by the Wright Isles Air Defence Force, and was instrumental in the destruction of a large number of 'Conveyor' Bomber aircraft of the Krakabloa Air Arm. The Key to the Saviour's success was its speed and endurance, able to menace enemy bombers from takeoff to landing.

The Mk.1d made much progress over previous incarnations of the Saviour. More power was gained from the engine and the propellor was redesigned all of which increased the top speed and climb rate.
