Variant: SkyCorps F-15VE Strike Eagle
Weapons Load-out: Precision-Strike and Air Superiority
Introduction:
The SkyCorps F-15VE Strike Eagle is a Veridisian licensed-built variant of the American F-15E Strike Eagle produced by SkyCorps solely for the use of the Veridisian Air Force.
After SkyCorps signed a contract with McDonnell Douglas to manufacture their aircraft for licensed-built production, Veridisia sought to develop a variant of the F-15E for VAF procurement following government approval in mid-1990. As a result, SkyCorps developed four prototypes for the aircraft, each being outfitted with different engines and components that slightly differ from the original F-15E. Eventually, the second prototype was chosen, and it made its maiden flight on October 12, 1991. It was introduced into service on July 25, 1993.
The F-15VE mostly retains features from the F-15E such as the variable air intake ramps. However, there are some distinguishing features. Two VE-JE-980 afterburning turbofan engines are outfitted instead, producing an additional 7,000 pounds of thrust each. The jet engines are supposed to take on the aircraft’s heavy weapons load-out, high speed and maneuverability, and long range. This makes it faster than the F-15E and the VerdAir Valkyrie, and is also the reason for its longer appearance. In place of an M61 Vulcan rotary cannon is an Arch System 1200-K rotary cannon, which can dish out a whopping 42,000 rounds per minute. And finally, a taller rudder is utilized on both vertical stabilizers.
The first operational F-15VEs were delivered to Hanterryne Air Force Base in Hanterryne, Dornburry around September of 1993. By 1995, the VAF operated a fleet of 75 aircraft. In the same year, the Veridisian Federation entered the late stages of the Tiucana Islands War, where the F-15VE saw its first taste in combat. Throughout the war, it was mostly used as a high-altitude precision strike and air superiority fighter. On May 12, 1995, an F-15VE from the 112th Tactical Fighter Wing shot down two Emeraldi MiG-29s, claiming its first aerial kills. Since then, the F-15VE had taken on a handful other roles besides precision-strikes and air superiority, such as close air support and electronic warfare. It had been deployed to numerous other places such as the Balkans, sub-Saharan Africa (particularly Sierra Leone), Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, the Middle East and its surrounding waters (Iraq, Syria, and Yemen), Libya, and Mexico (against drug cartels).
As of 2025, the VAF operates 326 F-15VEs. It has been exported to 6 other countries in Goomba. Seven F-15VEs, including two experimental rocket-powered versions, are operated by the Veridisian Space Agency for high-altitude atmospheric research and spacecraft tracking for reentry vehicles. A carrier-based variant for the Veridisian Navy had been proposed in the past, but had never come to fruition.

Anyways, Enjoy ;)
This is my first time making custom control surfaces. Not the best, but oh well.
