The Brigand is an attack aircraft of Eastern European origin. This model was created by the Smolensk Corporation, a State created by the private militaries of several oligarchs late into the Crumbling. While the Corporation has since managed to create a considerable industry and possesses a considerable military with a powerful artillery corps, it's in a bad position: geographically isolated from it's main Western support, the SFR; the Corporation is faced with the dual threats of the Leningrad People's Republic and the Blessed Germanic Empire's allies. As both possess a relatively strong tank fleet, the Brigand was developed to adress this threat.
For this purpose, it's a robust aircraft made to be simple in most aspects, the main exception being it's powered aircraft turret behind the pilot, chosen since the Brigand's low-flying combat profile inherently made it a threat to enemy fighters. This aircraft is equipped with a 37 mm cannon, typically used as an anti-aircraft gun as it's main weapon, and is also equipped with 10 7.62 mm rifle-caliber machine guns for strafing purposes. For other missions, Brigands are capable or carrying large payloads under it's belly, and if necessary the turret can be removed to install a bomb bay.
