With the fast evolution of tanks during the early 60s in the continent, Shenoa sought to create a new multi-purpose tanks that can compete with Napal and Esthmund tanks. Several companies were awarded with the contract however the contract was given to a relatively unknown weapon and firearms company called Nodren. The tank project initially started with the Shepard 1A1 and after several upgrades and modifications over the years leading to the 4A5 variant. Though not heavily armored, it makes up for its speed and gun allowing the tank great maneuverability and flanking capabilities on the battlefield
