OH MY GOD WHAT THE [bleep] IS THAT

The SM-38 sea longtail is a private endeavour aircraft built in a span of several years by ex-commander of the Angels with Arms foundation (not the psychopathic space base ones, the actually heroic mercenary group), Aaldara Here's. He used his power to buy an M-38, which he proceeded to modify into a carrier capable aircraft. He changed it to have a variable geometry wing configuration, adjusted some wing structures, gave it airbrakes, and a bigger gun.

It reportedly flew several times, and proved decently effective in naval operations, but at some point in 1988, the RLAF purchased it, and put it in the Rhistaka Royal Lasa Air Museum.

Operators

As far as we know, it's a privately owned aircraft, and never had any official operators outside of Aldara himself.
