Greetings. This is the second prototype of AKES’s upcoming “Cruel Angel.” A brief reminder of what this is: it’s the first standalone aircraft project from Atomic Klounada Experimental Systems – a mid-sized, generation 5- multirole fighter developed as part of a challenge by Ktoto14. This time its positioning is a bit different: it’s intended to compete with the F-35A and to fill the niche between Banana Aerospace Industries’ planes – the light XF-1 and F-1000 and the monstrous FB-2, which weighs over 40 tonnes. Compared to the “Lightning II,” I think it will win on speed and maneuverability, but lose somewhat on range (it carries almost a ton less fuel, apparently), stealth, and internal weapons-bay volume, compensating with a larger number of external hardpoints. Oh, and it doesn’t have an internal cannon.
