The C-10 was designed in-house by the company SimpleFreight to fulfill a requirement for a single-pilot, rugged cargo and utility aircraft capable of delivering light loads across the islands. While not exactly the most thrilling or easiest plane to fly, it was liked by pilots for its reliability, range, and ease of maintenance.
The C-10 can operate on less-developed runways and flat land, and can take off in shorter lengths if ledges and cliffsides are available.
The aircraft seats a single pilot, with a simple control layout and decent visibility that makes it more accessible for newer hires.
Lights on the propeller and wingtips make navigation easier at night.
It handles a little sluggishly and likes a lot of pitch, and is best suited for lower altitudes and on straight courses from island to island.
