A mostly accurate replica of the Canadair CF-104 Starfighter, a Canada-built variant of the Lockheed F-104G Starfighter.
Specs:
- Single turbofan engine to simulate the twin engines of the real plane (thrust is exaggerated in order to reach good speeds)
- "Tricycle" landing gear configuration
- 1 x front-mounted Chaingun (simulates 20mm M61 Vulcan)
- 4 x short-range air-to-air missiles (simulates AIM-9 Sidewinder)
- 2 x External fuel pods
Just like the real thing, it's very hard to fly. It flies well and very fast in a straight line, but it doesn't turn very well. Chaingun is fired with the main weapon button, and missiles are fired with the secondary weapon button.
