(Update 12/13/2015: Initially the goal was to fly from North Runway to Bandit Airfield, but I've changed it to south runway to bandit, since all the planes entered so far hang over the edge of the runway otherwise.)
Welcome to the Special Delivery Challenge: Christmas Edition!
A vital shipment of Christmas gifts needs to be delivered to the boys and girls living at Bandit Airfield. Using your wit and intelligence, design an aircraft to carry the load and drop it off in time for Christmas.
Goal: Build an aircraft that can pick up the package, fly it to Bandit Airfield, and drop it off without damaging it.
Rules:
The package must start out on the ground, and cannot start directly under, or over your aircraft.
The aircraft must be able to pick up the package from the ground, and carry it from the South Runway to Bandit Airfield.
The package may be in any orientation when starting the challenge.
You may use XML hacking to place and modify parts, but all engines must be stock.
You may submit up to two (2) entries.
All entries MUST be a successor to this upload.
Planes will be judged on creativity and ingenuity. The more intricate or cool the design the better!
1st place prize will be 9 upvotes.
2nd place prize will be 5 upvotes.
3rd place prize will be 3 upvotes.

also do we have to drop the package in the air or can we land then drop it then takeoff?

I'm adding this to favorites so I can check back at all the designsame as I have no idea how to build something like that. However I am going to give you something.
This is a good idea and definitely a challenge. What I don't understand - and after a year, I'm taking the time to ask - is how you can give the First Place 9 upvotes. I mean, you can only give one per plane, right? You can't control other's upvotes so 'they' can vote the hell out of any plane you dislike. I just don't understand :(
