LANZE is a auto staging hypersonic anti-ship missile that designed to penetrate enemy air defense systems at very high speeds and causing massive damage with the powerful warhead, having two acceleration stages to reach speeds exceeding Mach 5
FEATURE
Multi-Stage Propulsion
The missile consists of two stages, designed to achieve and sustain hypersonic flight
- First Stage: Equipped with a high thrust-to-weight rocket engine and preliminary control surfaces, the first stage propels the missile beyond Mach 1, enabling the second-stage scramjet engine to ignite reliably
- Second Stage: After the first stage burns out and separates, the seeker turns on and ignites the scramjet engine, accelerating the second stage beyond Mach 5. With the X-shaped fins, the missile maintains stable flight toward the target warship at hypersonic speeds
