The KV-2 Zis-9 is the USSR's answer to the issue of anti tank weapons in urban combat, they found that the T-34's armor not sufficient enough against German anti tank launchers, and the "Isu" and "Su" line of tanks too exposed in urban combat. Using the famed KV-2 as a base, it was equipped with simple steel plates on the turret, lower glacis plate, and sides. For armament, a 122 mm low-velocity gun and 12.7 mm machine gun were mounted, it is capable of holding 40 shells, 15 AP, and 25 HE, however crews often loaded 30 HE and 10 AP. crews also often put frontal armor on the mounted machine gun as it was considered too exposed. additionally it was common for crews to mount a simple dozer blade to the front for use in more debris filled areas, and put rungs on the spaced armor to allow easier climbing.

AG 1 for lights, AG 2 for MG(Vtol and Yaw), AG 8 for main gun(Vtol and Yaw)
