SHADOW HEAVY INDUSTRY, PRESENTS:

Background
The M75 Rinnai Armored Personnel Carrier, commonly referred to as the Rinnai PC, is an 8×8 wheeled armored personnel carrier operated by the Mizuhara Federation Army and Mizuhara Marine Corps. The vehicle was developed and entered service in the early stages of the Fourth Neorasia Civil War.
Development and Role
The M75 Rinnai was developed in response to the Mizuhara Federation’s urgent requirement for a modern infantry transport vehicle during the Fourth Neorasia Civil War. Designed for mechanized and heavy infantry formations, the vehicle can be operated by a crew of three and is capable of transporting up to eight fully equipped infantry personnel.
Design and Variants
The M75 Rinnai features a modular design, allowing it to be configured for a wide range of combat and support roles. Available weapon and mission modules include:
- Artillery turrets
- 105 mm cannon turrets
- 50 mm automatic cannon turrets
- Air defense systems
- Command and control modules
- Ambulance and medical evacuation variants
- Radar and surveillance platforms
In addition to the standard wheeled configuration, the M75 Rinnai is also available in a tracked variant, providing improved off-road mobility and operational flexibility in difficult terrain.
Limitations
One of the primary drawbacks of the M75 Rinnai is its overall height. Comparable in height to the Type-95 Shadowstorm Mk II main battle tank, the vehicle presents a relatively large visual and radar signature on the battlefield. The height can increase further depending on the installed weapon or mission module, making the vehicle more vulnerable to detection and targeting.
Despite this limitation, the M75 Rinnai has demonstrated notable battlefield survivability. Several vehicles were reported to have returned intact after sustaining moderate damage, including instances where up to three wheels were destroyed, highlighting the robustness of the platform.
Post-war Service and Export
Following the end of the Fourth Neorasia Civil War, the M75 Rinnai remained the backbone of Mizuhara’s mechanized and heavy infantry forces due to its durability and versatility.
The Kingdom of Stjerneland, which had previously been offered the PC-109 Sealion, declined that proposal and instead selected the M75 Rinnai and several of its variants as part of debt repayments. The M75 Rinnai has also been exported to multiple foreign states, further establishing it as a key armored vehicle in Mizuharan military exports.
