The snail finally has a home!
He has been searching around and has even been called a slug, but the snail has joined with his home. And now he can fly free, even though as a snail he has lost his ability to interact with SALT water. He has gained the ability of extreme high speed ESCAPE! He thinks that it is a fair trade.

When the snail leaves the ground he leaps into the air at no more than 33% power, but once his slime trail..., (um landing gear) is stowed, full power is appreciated. Fly free, Fly far little snail. (Hydrogen battery by gnome360) If you find that you need a safe escape (from a bird, say) AG 7 activates Shell departure * (escape pod!! {actually it is the foldable zipper dipper })

Ok AG 7, should gently release you, then use VTOL, up or down, to extend wings. Oh also, now your throttle speed is the same as it was, but different engines, so take care.

Totally weaponless, as a snail should be!
