Description
Smirnov SM-32 (NATO reporting name "Castle") is a Soviet twin-engine medium-size transport aircraft, designed in 2008 by Smirnov design bureau in Leningrad as a main competitor to the Tupolev Tu-330 project. Intended to replace the obsolete transport aircraft such as the Antonov An-12.
The design is a two-engined high-wing monoplane with a circular pressurised fuselage and a T-tail. Equipped with two high-bypass ratio Nikolayev VN-30 jet engines, each providing a takeoff thrust of 18000 kgf (176.5 kN, 39,700 lbf)
Smirnov SM-32 is developed from the Smirnov SM-30 airliner and they are highly unified

@WinsWings when the loading door is down you can use one of the camera angles to walk right up the ramp and into the cargo bay almost to the cockpit.
