SUMPAC Conceptualization Challange

300 AnottUzername  1.4 years ago

The SUMPAC man powered plane was designed by Southampton university students between 1960 and 1961 in hopes of winning the 50,000 Pound prize offered by the Royal Aeronautical Society Human Powered Flight Group. Unfortunately, the SUMPAC was unable to complete the figure of eight course in the challange. Now over 60 years later I want to bring light to this prodject in a SUMPAC conceptualization challange. Rules are pretty simple; create a light propeler powerd aircraft that follows a similar design to that of the original SUMPAC plane. Have fun!
