This was quite a challenging flag to make. The 14-pointed star was the most difficult. The crescent and star of Islam is seen here in yellow or gold, the royal Malaysian colors. The blue canton in the corner represents the Malaysian people, and the 14 stripes on the flag represent the 14 Malaysian states. Malaysia is one of my personal favorite countries because of it's uniqueness. Malaysia, much like it's neighbor Brunei, is comprised of 2 almost comparable parts, Peninsular Malaysia, and East Malaysia/Malaysian Borneo.

Mistake. Malaysia has 13 states, for some reason Singapore didn't want to join in with well, Malaysia. For some reason, they just kept the 14 stripes.
